N korthausae Mafia Island - Incubation 4-12 weeks (normally very quick at 25°C)
I had a trio of this species (1m, 2f) that were given to me by Trevor Wood in December 2016, but the male has since died, though I have 2 very well fed and healthy females left (Feb 2017 - if anyone would like them?). Though like the N rubripinnis above, they were very prolific and have a number of bags of eggs to hatch soon.
The water being used is my very hard tapwater plus added salt, which they seem to like.
Just wet the first bag of peat/coir that I collected after 6 weeks, and 30 fry hatched over 2 days. The coir has now been redried for rewetting in 3-4 weeks time (just as a safeguard).
