Fp cinnamomeus Dikoni Bafor were initially purchased my first pair at the NEY auction in July 2015, and since then I have 3 other pairs, but now down to just 1 male left. This is a species that I find it very difficult, or impossible, to breed. I know that I had trouble previously in my old fishroom but then everything was being maintained in my very hard tapwater. These recent purchases are being kept in 20% tapwater and 80% rainwater (TDS = 100ppm approx.). I often see them at auctions so someone in the BKA is having success, just wish that I could learn how. Any hints anyone?
Fp sjoestedti Warri were initially purchased as 2 weeks spawning medium from "hypsolebias" on Ebay in August 2015. My current pair at 10-12cm is 1st generation from the original. At the present I do not have any fry, but have a number of eggs laid on damp peat (mini container), but little embryo development so far. Tried sunken mops, plus peat/coir in a container, without success in harvesting eggs from this species until I added some dark gravel to their tank and that is what they are spawning in all over the tank floor.
